Meet the Founder
Padel Addict. Software Engineer. Local Player.
I built PadelScout to make finding the right racket clearer, more honest, and grounded in both real playing experience and first-party price data.
PadelScout builds evidence-backed specification analyses from verified sources and first-party price history, with automated claim and localization checks. My experience with 100+ rackets appears separately as founder-tested notes only where I have personally played the exact model.

Why I started building this.
Hi, I'm Zvonimir. I'm a software engineer and a massive padel addict based right here in Zagreb.
I built PadelScout because I was tired of opening 20 tabs just to work out which racket made sense and where I could actually find the best price.
I wanted a place where players could get honest information instead of more marketing hype.
The more I played, the more I noticed the same problem from both ends. Beginners often do not know what they should even be looking for in a racket, while more advanced players usually know what they want but still lose too much time chasing the right price. I wanted to build something useful for both.
PadelScout builds evidence-backed specification analyses from verified sources and first-party price history, with automated claim and localization checks. My experience with 100+ rackets appears separately as founder-tested notes only where I have personally played the exact model.
On The Court
I don't just code.
I play.
I play for Padel Embassy in Zagreb and compete in the Croatian National League.
I have played 100+ rackets, and that court time shapes how PadelScout thinks about sweet spot, balance, comfort, and value.
That experience shapes how I think about rackets, and why I care so much about helping players make better choices.

What I'm Currently Using on Court
For transparency, here's what I'm currently playing with and carrying in my bag.
Head Extreme One
2024 Model
Super lightweight to protect my arm after a bicep injury, but still packs serious power.

Footwork
Struggled with shoes for a long time until I found the Nike Vapor 12. Very light and comfortable, plus they look great.
Also used by Carlos Alcaraz which makes them even cooler.

Always in the bag

Say hello.
I'm on court most weeks, and I'm always happy to hear from people who care about padel and useful things built around it.
