Teardrop padel rackets

What a teardrop racket is

A teardrop head is wider at the top than a round one and narrower than a diamond, so the sweet spot sits a little higher on the face. Shops and guides tend to call it the all-court shape, and our catalog agrees with that label more than with any other: of the 156 teardrops on offer when we wrote this page (29 October 2026), 59 carried the manufacturer's "versatile" play style and only 6 were listed as control rackets.

Balance tells you more than the shape

Inside this group the balance does most of the sorting. Almost two thirds of the teardrops we track are listed at medium balance, which keeps the head easy to move at the net. A smaller set sits at medium-high, among them the Nox AT10 Genius 18K Alum 2026 and the Head Speed Pro 2025, and only a handful are high. If you are coming from a round racket, start with a medium balance such as the Bullpadel Neuron 02 2026; if you are coming from a diamond and want more control, medium-high is the smaller step.

Prices run wide

Teardrops span the full price range. The cheap end is fiberglass beginner frames such as the Head Evo Speed 2025; around the middle you find 3K carbon models like the Head Radical Motion 2024; the top end is signature rackets. The table above splits today's offers by level, so you can see the cheapest teardrop for your level before you open any shop.

Choosing between two famous teardrops? We compare the Nox AT10 12K and 18K side by side, and the Nox AT10 alternatives page lists the rackets closest to it on stored specs. Not sure the shape is right for you? Look at the round and diamond collections too.
